During his high school years, Coach Champion showcased his exceptional talent as an all-state running back. His outstanding performances on the field earned him an opportunity to continue his career at North Dakota State University as a defensive back. As a key member of the team, he started in an impressive 33 games and played an instrumental role in leading his team to an astounding five national championships. His dedication, skill, and leadership qualities were evident throughout his college career, making him a standout player on the field.
After his successful college football career, Coach Champion transitioned into coaching, where he has continued to make a significant impact. Currently coaching high school football, he has nurtured and developed numerous players who have gone on to achieve all-region and state recognition. His expertise, guidance, and ability to bring out the best in his players have earned him a reputation as a top-notch coach.
